Jio Jalalon tallied 13 points, seven assists, three rebounds and a steal as he celebrates his 23rd birthday

The Arellano Chiefs defeated Lyceum Pirates, 81-76, to raise their mark to 6-2 and a share of second spot in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Season 92 at the Fil-Oil Arena in San Juan City.

Dioncee Holts leds the chiefs with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field,15 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Jio Jalalon tallied 13 points, seven assists, three rebounds and one steals while Kent Salado contributed 17 points. Zach Nicholls added 11 points.

Mike Nzeusseu had 24 points and 17 rebounds for the Pirates while Shaq Alanes contributed 14 points.

The loss of the Pirates dropped their win-loss record to 3-5.
